10 Pack Salice Compact Soft Close Hinge with Screws and Bumpers

The versatile Salice hinge can be used for both new construction and retrofitting existing installations. For new construction, a 35mm cup, 11mm deep, and positioned 2.5mm from the edge of the door, should be drilled. In the Dimension picture, the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the hinge cup is denoted as K + 2.5mm.

For retrofit applications, if you have a Salice hinge that mounts with one screw to the faceframe and is stamped "1/2" on the arm, and the holes that mount to the door match the hole placement pictured (some Salice hinges have a different hole pattern), then it will be an easy hinge swap, as all the holes will align.

If you have the Salice hinge with 2 screws that mount to the frame and it's stamped "1/2", you can still swap them, but you will need to drill new holes to mount the hinge to the frame. This hinge can also be used to retrofit some other hinges, but you'll need to verify the measurements to ensure compatibility.

Accurate measurements are critical, and the dimensions provided are in metric. The first measurement to check is the door overlay, which must be 1/2". Measure your door and the opening it covers, then subtract the door width from the opening width and divide by two. The result must be 1/2".

The second measurement is the 35mm cup that needs to be drilled into the door. Measure from the edge of the door to the edge of the cup, and it must be 2.5mm for this hinge to work. If it's greater than 2.5mm, the door will rub on the frame as it's opened or closed.

The third measurement is the spacing of the hinge-to-door mounting screws, which must be 45mm center-to-center. The fourth measurement is the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the screw mounting hole, which must be 29.5mm.

The Salice Soft Close Hinge with Motion control switch features a 1/2" overlay. To adjust the dampening effect, set the lever to zero for LOW, or to one for HIGH. The hinge also offers six-way door adjustment (up, down, in, out, right, left).

The package includes 10 CUP37D9 hinges, 10 #10 x 3/4" pan head screws, and 10 #6 x 5/8" flat head screws, as well as bumpers.
